Simon Gee MREC – Managing Director
Simon is the Founder and Managing Director of Heywood and has worked within the recruitment sector for more than 13 years. After spending a number of years in equity trading and property finance, he fell into the recruitment sector and decided that this could be the start of a great career.
As a recruiter, Simon personally focuses on Financial Markets search and Interim Management assignments. He is also actively involved in assisting recruiters raise funding for their businesses and is involved in some M&A activity.
Simon was a co-founder of Supporta Plc, a support service business that listed on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in February 2001.
Simon regularly attends and contributes to the REC’s Recruitment to Recruitment Sector Group. He is married with two teenage boys and enjoys golf and travelling.
Jane Lamont - Finance & Marketing Director
Jane is Heywood’s Finance & Marketing Director and has been with the business since the start. Jane ensures that we don’t spend too much money and is normally the first one on the case when money is outstanding. She is responsible for all advertising and is normally so frustrated by our inability to write good adverts, she can often be found rewriting them on deadline day.
Prior to joining Heywood, Jane spent many years in publishing.
She is a dog lover, enjoys gardening, travel and spending time with her grandchildren.
Anna Craig - Team Secretary/Office Administrator
Anna joined Heywood in early 2008 having travelled to London from Brisbane on a working holiday visa. Before joining us she worked as a Medical secretary in her native Australia. When not typing CVs and taking care of all of us in the office, Anna enjoys socialising and travelling. She plans to study Acting in the future.
